The Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) Region VII held an audience with the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd., on Tuesday (29/7) at 12.00 PM at Building D of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.

The meeting was attended by the Head of LLDIKTI Region VII, Prof. Dr. Dyah Sawitri, S.E., M.M., along with her team; Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Collaboration of the Institute of Health Sciences (IIK) Bhakti Wiyata, drg.Dzanuar M.Si, as well as leaders or representatives from universities within the LLDIKTI VII working area, including:

The primary focus of the audience was the discussion on implementing the strategic program Kampus Berdampak (“Impactful Campus”). The concept emphasizes the active role of higher education institutions in addressing real challenges in society through cross-sector collaboration, the utilization of expertise, and synergy with local governments.

The program’s implementation includes mapping the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) in each region to ensure equitable access to higher education. Furthermore, strengthening thematic programs is one of the priorities, including Community Service Programs (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or KKN) for stunting prevention, local economic development, and food security.

On this occasion, IIK Bhakti Wiyata expressed its commitment to actively contributing to the implementation of Kampus Berdampak, particularly through strengthening public health programs. These contributions include assisting villages in stunting prevention, providing preventive health education, and developing research-based innovations relevant to regional needs. With its expertise in health sciences, IIK Bhakti Wiyata is ready to become a strategic partner in realizing sustainable social transformation.

According to Prof. Dr. Fauzan, M.Pd., the program is designed not only for universities to address local issues but also to enhance institutional reputation through sustainable, real-world contributions. Through innovation, science-based program design, and cross-sector collaboration, Kampus Berdampak is expected to become a driving force for social transformation that delivers direct benefits to communities while supporting the achievement of national education goals.

With synergy between the government, higher education institutions, and society, Kampus Berdampak is projected to accelerate equitable education, strengthen regional capacities, and improve the overall quality of life for communities.
