Taking the Pledge of D3 Medical Records and Health Information Students of IIK Bhakta: Welcoming Professionalism in the Digital Era

The Bhakti Wiyata Institute of Health Sciences (IIK Bhakta) once again held a historic moment for students of the D3 Medical Records and Health Information (RMIK) study program, namely the Student Pledge Taking procession which was continued with the Expert Lecture activity, Wednesday (07/05/2025).

This event was held solemnly in the Auditorium, and was attended by lecturers, education staff, and D3 RMIK students. Taking the pledge is an academic tradition that marks students' readiness to undergo clinical practice and apply professional ethical values ​​in the world of work.
In her remarks, the Head of the D3 RMIK Study Program, Krisnita Dwi Jayanti, S.KM., M.Epid.

emphasized the importance of integrity and responsibility in the medical records profession.
"This pledge is not just a ceremony, but a reminder that you hold an important mandate in maintaining the confidentiality and accuracy of patient health information," she said.
The procession continued with the reading of the oath by all students led by representatives of D3 RMIK students.

A silent and emotional atmosphere accompanied every word spoken, indicating their seriousness in carrying out their professional responsibilities.

After the oath-taking procession, the event continued with an expert lecture featuring speakers from practitioners and experts in the field of medical records and health information management. This time, IIK Bhakta presented [Name of Speaker, Title and Position], with the theme "Optimizing clinical classification & codification in Supporting Health Financing Claims Management in Electronic Medical Records".

In his presentation, the speaker emphasized the importance of digital competence for today's medical records personnel.

"RMIK students must be ready to face digital transformation. Data analysis skills, hospital information system management, and digital literacy are your main assets in the field," he said.
This expert lecture is a means of enriching knowledge and motivation, as well as broadening students' insights into the dynamics of the world of work that continues to develop, especially in the application of technology in health care facilities.

Through the procession of taking the oath and expert lecture, IIK Bhakta affirmed its commitment to producing graduates who are not only academically competent, but also have strong character and professional ethics. This event also serves as a momentum for reflection and readiness of students in facing the challenges of the increasingly complex and dynamic world of work.
