Another remarkable achievement has been accomplished by the Bachelor of Public Health Study Program at Institut Ilmu Kesehatan Bhakti Wiyata (IIK Bhakta).
Riyan Hidayatullah, a sixth-semester student specializing in Epidemiology, has successfully earned the opportunity to participate in an internship program at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia.
This achievement represents a valuable experience and demonstrates the opportunities available for IIK Bhakta students to develop their competencies and gain professional experience beyond the university environment.
An internship within the Ministry of Health provides Riyan with an opportunity to gain a closer understanding of public health practices and to explore how the knowledge acquired through academic studies can be applied in real-world settings.
As an Epidemiology student, Riyan has an academic interest in various aspects of public health, particularly in understanding disease patterns, risk factors, and efforts to prevent and control health problems.
His internship experience at the Ministry of Health is expected to broaden his perspective and strengthen his skills in understanding public health challenges from a more comprehensive perspective.
This opportunity is not only a personal achievement for Riyan but also represents the spirit of IIK Bhakta students to continue learning, growing, and taking meaningful opportunities. Being part of a national-level health institution can provide valuable experience that will support Riyan’s academic and professional journey in the future.
For university students, learning experiences outside the classroom are an important part of personal and professional development. Through internships, students can interact with professionals, understand workplace culture, improve communication skills, and learn to respond to challenges that may not always be encountered during academic studies.
Riyan’s achievement can also serve as motivation for other students to actively explore opportunities available to them. Success does not always begin with a major step. It can start with the courage to try, the willingness to learn, and the consistency to continuously improve oneself.
IIK Bhakta continues to encourage its students to develop strong academic competencies as well as practical skills that are relevant to the needs of the professional world. Through this commitment, students are expected to become adaptive, competent, innovative, and socially responsible graduates who are ready to contribute to society.
Congratulations to Riyan Hidayatullah on this outstanding achievement. May his internship experience at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia become a valuable journey filled with learning and inspiration, while also serving as an important step toward making a greater contribution to the advancement of public health in Indonesia.
