Students of the D3 Dental Engineering study program, IIK Bhakta held an information transfer in the Bumi room, Adipadma Building, Thursday (03/20/2025). The Information Transfer event is an activity that students must participate in after holding Field Work Practices. The students carried out PKL at Kurnia Dental Laboratory Surabaya and Bintang Prima Premium Dental Laboratory Semarang from February 3 to March 8, 2025.
This information transfer event aims to provide an opportunity for D3 Dental Engineering students to report and present the results of their work and experiences during their PKL in various designated laboratories. In addition, this event is also expected to be able to show the relevance between the theories learned in college and real implementation in the field, as well as provide an overview to juniors who will do PKL.
This event is also a means to increase students' understanding of the challenges faced in the world of work and the importance of practical skills gained during PKL. With this seminar, it is hoped that participants can learn more about how to apply the knowledge they have acquired and prepare themselves to enter the professional world.
The series of events were filled with presentations of the results of the internship by the participants. Each participant was given the opportunity to present the results of their work during the internship, which covered various topics. This presentation provides a clearer picture of how students implement the skills learned on campus in the context of the real world of work.
In addition, there was a question and answer session that allowed participants to discuss with the audience, consisting of students and lecturers who also attended the event. This discussion was very productive, because it provided an opportunity for participants to get direct input on the results of their work, as well as broaden their insights into the world of work.
The Head of the D3 Dental Engineering Study Program at IIK Bhakta, Dyah Noviana Primasari, M.Kes. hopes that through this seminar, participants can be better prepared to face the challenges of the world of work and apply the results of their internship in a successful career.
"We hope that events like this will not only be beneficial for the participants, but also as a means to strengthen relationships within the IK Bhakta community and the industrial world, especially dental laboratories," he explained.
