The Biology Undergraduate Study Program (S1 Biology) of the Institut Ilmu Kesehatan Bhakti Wiyata is a study program under the Faculty of Technology and Health Management. Based on the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 139/D/O/2005 which was stimulated on 27 September 2005, the S1 Biology study program was opened at IIK BW Kediri. The undergraduate Biology study program was registered and accredited at the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education.
Biological science has basic structures and concepts that have experienced rapid development and are used for development. It also plays a role in supporting the advancement of science related to living systems. Related to these developments, various kinds of applied sciences have emerged, which can answer human problems such as in the fields of agricultural health, forestry, animal husbandry, and the environment.
The establishment of the S1 Biology study program is expected to be able to anticipate and reduce all negative impacts by sustainably utilizing living natural resources. Supported by adequate laboratory facilities, the S1 Biology study program is confident in offering health studies of
Biotechnology to encourage and to compete in supporting the development of applied and modern science.

Selain itu, baik mahasiswa maupun pengajar dipacu untuk mengembangkan penelitian
agar dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan penelitian dan pengabdian ini didukung
oleh Deputi Penelitian dan Social Responsibility IIK Bhakta.
