Institut Ilmu Kesehatan (IIK) Bhakta once again marked a significant achievement through the 12th Pharmacist Professional Oath Ceremony held on April 16, 2026, at Adipadma Hall. The occasion was made even more remarkable as all graduates successfully achieved a 100% pass rate in the Indonesian Pharmacist Competency Examination (UKAI), reflecting the institution’s academic excellence and the graduates’ readiness to enter the professional workforce.
The oath-taking ceremony was conducted solemnly and attended by institutional leaders, faculty members, professional organization representatives, administrative staff, and the graduates’ families. This important milestone signifies the transition of students into licensed professionals who are ready to contribute to the field of pharmacy. During the ceremony, the newly inducted pharmacists pledged to uphold professional ethics, deliver high-quality healthcare services, and continuously enhance their competencies in line with advancements in science and technology.
Achieving a 100% pass rate in the UKAI serves as strong evidence that IIK Bhakta’s educational system is capable of producing highly competent and competitive graduates. Given the rigorous national standards of the examination, this accomplishment not only brings pride to the institution but also strengthens public trust in the quality of its graduates.
In his remarks, the Rector of IIK Bhakta, Prof. Dr. apt. Muhammad Zainuddin, expressed his highest appreciation to all graduates for their dedication, discipline, and perseverance throughout their professional education. He emphasized that the 100% success rate is the result of strong collaboration among students, faculty, and the entire academic community in maintaining high educational standards.
“This achievement is not only a source of pride for the institution but also clear evidence that IIK Bhakta graduates possess the competence required to compete in the professional world,” he stated.
He further reminded the graduates that the professional oath is not merely ceremonial, but a lifelong moral commitment that must be upheld throughout their careers as pharmacists. He highlighted the importance of integrity, professionalism, and prioritizing patient safety in every aspect of pharmaceutical practice.
The Rector also encouraged the newly graduated pharmacists to continuously develop themselves, remain adaptable to change, and respond effectively to the evolving challenges in the healthcare sector. According to him, modern pharmacists are expected not only to excel academically but also to demonstrate strong communication skills, interprofessional collaboration, and a high level of social responsibility.
Adipadma Hall witnessed an emotional and proud moment, especially for the families who attended to celebrate the graduates’ achievements. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of accomplishment as the graduates recited their professional oath, marking the culmination of their academic journey.
Through the successful implementation of the 12th Pharmacist Professional Oath Ceremony, IIK Bhakta reaffirms its commitment to producing highly qualified and ethical healthcare professionals. The 100% UKAI pass rate is expected to inspire other students to strive for excellence while marking the beginning of a meaningful professional journey for the new pharmacists in serving the community and advancing the healthcare sector.
