IIK Bhakta visited the Office of the Mayor of Kediri to explore a strategic partnership in the field of education, particularly a scholarship program for students from Kediri City who wish to pursue higher education in health sciences at the Institut Ilmu Kesehatan Bhakta. The meeting was held in the Mayor’s office and served as an important moment to strengthen synergy between the educational institution and the local government, Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 2:30 PM.
The delegation from IIK Bhakta was represented by dr. David Raditya Soehartono, BComm, MBA, as a representative of the Foundation, and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Zainuddin as the Rector of IIK Bhakta. Both representatives attended to directly present the institution’s initiative to expand access to higher education through scholarship opportunities, while also strengthening the role of higher education institutions in supporting regional human resource development.
From the Kediri City Government, the meeting was attended by the Mayor of Kediri, Vinanda Prameswati, S.H., M.Kn., accompanied by the Head of Government Affairs Division, Widiantoro, S.Sos., M.Si., and the Head of the Education Office, Drs. Mandung Sulaksono. Their presence reflected the local government’s strong commitment to advancing education and improving the quality of human resources in the region.
During the discussion, IIK Bhakta presented its scholarship program plan aimed at outstanding students as well as those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The program is expected to provide wider access to higher education in the health sector and to produce competent healthcare professionals who are ready to contribute to healthcare services at both regional and national levels.
The Kediri City Government welcomed the initiative and expressed its appreciation for IIK Bhakta’s efforts in supporting educational accessibility. The Mayor emphasized that such collaboration aligns with the city’s vision of improving human resource quality and expanding educational opportunities for all segments of society.
Through this meeting, both parties agreed to follow up with technical discussions to ensure the scholarship program can be implemented effectively. This cooperation is expected not only to strengthen the relationship between IIK Bhakta and the Kediri City Government but also to bring tangible benefits to the improvement of education and public health in Kediri in the future.
