The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Dentistry (BEM FKG IIK BW) again held a Dentistry Festival (DENTFES) 2.0 with the theme "Elegant of Dentistry". The event DENTFES 2.0 implemented since November 2019 has entered the peak with the core event the Contest Carving Ortho Competition (COC) held by the Student Association of Engineering Dental (HIMA TG IIK BW) and the poster contest and concert closing DENTFES 2.0: Connect each other that organized by the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Dentistry (BEM FKG IIK BW) in Tirtayasa Park, Saturday (07/03/2020).
Besides being participated by IIK BW students, the competition was also attended by participants from the University of Indonesia (UI), Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Jakarta Health Polytechnic, Hang Tuah, Jenderal Soedirman University and Airlangga University (UNAIR). They seemed eager to take part in the carving, ortho, and poster competitions that would be judged by the jury of IIK BW.
In the evening at Tirtayasa Park, the DENTFES 2.0 event officially closed with a spectacular performance from Budi Doremi, Denny Caknan, and DJ Lolita who were also FKG IIK BW alumni. Thousands of these students also filled Taman Tirtayasa to "fade" with the guest stars.
The concert opened with the appearance of Budi Doremi with his flagship single "Tolong" and closed with the appearance of Denny Caknan, thousands of spectators cheered up to greet him. The song "Kartonyono Medot Janji" became the ultimate song that successfully made the audience compete to capture the moment with a smartphone.
Mega FKG IIK student Bhakti Wiyata said she was enthusiastic about the annual event at the Faculty. Together with her classmates, she had long since ordered DENTFES 2.0 closing tickets.
"The event was cool. At first, I was hesitant because it was raining, but praise God, before the program started, it had died down. Finally, we can exclaim while singing together throughout the concert. Success for DENTFES 2.0, hopefully, next year it will be even worse! " told her
