Selamat Datang di Professional Midwifery Education

Prodi Pendidikan Profesi Bidan merupakan program studi profesi yang berada dibawah Fakultas Kesehatan IIK Bhakti Wiyata Kediri. Prodi Pendidikan Profesi Bidan telah terakreditasi Baik sejak 29 September 2023 berdasarkan SK Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Perguruan Tinggi Kesehatan Nomor SK : 0704/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Pro/IX/2023

Program studi Pendidikan Profesi Bidan ditempuh dengan 100% praktik dan di akhir masa studi mahasiswa akan mengikuti ujian kompetensi bidan secara nasional dan diambil sumpahnya sebagai bidan. Lulusan Pendidikan profesi bidan mempunyai kesempatan yang luas dalam berkarir yaitu bisa menjadi PNS, Praktek Bidan Mandiri, Bidan RS/Puskesmas/ Klinik Bersalin, Peneliti, Penyuluh dan konselor, Pembimbing dan fasilitator klinik, serta penggerak dalam pemberdayaan perempuan.

VISION OF THE MIDWIFERY PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM

To become a leading program in the quality of the tridharma (three responsibilities) in the field of complementary midwifery services: yoga for pregnant women, and management based on the PLUS culture at the national level by 2025.

MISSION OF THE MIDWIFERY PROFESSIONAL PROGRAM

1. To provide high-quality academic and professional education in accordance with advancements in midwifery, specifically in the area of complementary midwifery services: yoga during pregnancy.

2. To conduct high-quality research aimed at developing scientific knowledge and technology in midwifery, with a focus on complementary midwifery services: yoga during pregnancy, utilizing natural resources and national culture to support the advancement of education and community service.

3. To implement community service programs with high quality based on expertise in the field of midwifery science and technology to empower and enhance the quality of life and health of the community.

4. To advance institutional management towards modern, efficient, and effective practices oriented towards achieving goals based on quality assurance systems and integrated information management systems while upholding the PLUS culture (Excellent in service, Noble in character, Outstanding in work, and Prosperous in communal life).

Competency

1. Able to provide comprehensive and professional midwifery care that focuses on the uniqueness of women, to achieve healthy production, the achievement of motherhood, and the quality of childcare.
2. Able to act as a communicator in providing information and education, communicating policies, conveying arguments/thoughts, or innovative work that is beneficial to families, communities, and professional development.
3. Able to act as a mobilizer and community empowerment to improve the quality of life of the community, especially women, mothers, and children by utilizing the potential and available resources.
4. Able to act as independent decision-makers in carrying out their professional work based on logical, critical, ethical, and systematic thinking.
5. Able to play a role as manager of maternal and child health services, women’s reproductive health, family planning by paying attention to potentials and resources effectively and efficiently.
