The Institute of Health Sciences Bhakti Wiyata (IIK Bhakta) Kediri held the fifth edition of the Sinergy National Nutrition Seminar on Saturday, January 10, 2026, carrying the theme “Comprehensive Strategies in Mass Food Service Management.” The event served as a discussion platform for nutrition practitioners, health service institutions, and policy stakeholders involved in large-scale food service operations. The program is accredited by the Indonesian Ministry of Health and grants 4 Continuing Professional Development (SKP) credits for health professionals.
Several speakers were invited to present both technical and applied perspectives. Nanik Hamidah, S.Gz., M.Gizi, as one of the speakers, discussed the optimization of nutritional and supporting components in planning and implementing mass food preparation. Ana Nur Filiya, S.KM., M.Kes. highlighted the importance of menu diversification rooted in local food culture to meet the evolving needs of the community.
From a food safety and health service standpoint, Unjiati, SKM., M.Kes., a dietitian at RSUD Haji East Java Province and Chair of the East Java DPD AsDI, presented critical control points in food safety within mass food service settings, particularly in public health facilities. Meanwhile, Khusnul Nur Hidayah, S.Gz. underlined the readiness of nutrition professionals in managing institutional food service systems, including technical, managerial, and professional accountability aspects.
The seminar was moderated by Denis Melati, S.Gz., M.Gz. and Yoanita Indra Kumala Dewi, S.KM., M.Kes. The event was conducted in a hybrid format at the Adipadma Auditorium, 6th floor, IIK Bhakta, and via Zoom Meeting. Registration was open until January 9, 2026, for both students and general participants.
For attendance validation, participants were required to have an active Satu Sehat SDMK or Plataran Sehat account. In addition to the presented materials, attendees were eligible to receive SKP credits for ongoing professional development.
Through this event, IIK Bhakti Wiyata reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing nutrition literacy and strengthening mass food service governance as an essential component in supporting public health across institutions and service settings.
