Kami mengucapkan selamat datang di lingkungan civitas akademika di Program Studi D3 Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan Fakultas Teknologi dan Manajemen Kesehatan Institut Ilmu Kesehatan Bhakti Wiyata Kediri. Program Studi D3 Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan memiliki keunggulan dalam rekam medis elektronik khususnya dalam bidang pengembangan sistem informasi Kesehatan dan pengolahan data rekam medis berbasis elektronik.

Program Studi D3 Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan Fakultas Teknologi dan Manajemen Kesehatan Institut Ilmu Kesehatan Bhakti Wiyata Kediri unggul dalam menerapkan sistem perkuliahan yang modern, penelitian dan pengembangan ilmu kesehatan, serta dosen yang berpengalaman di bidangnya. Tujuan Program Studi D3 Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan adalah menghasilkan lulusan D3 RMIK IIK BW yang menjadi individu profesional dan siap bersaing di bidangnya Bimbingan dan pelatihan akademik dengan reputasi yang baik dan praktik laboratorium dengan teknik modern akan diberikan kepada mahasiswa Program Studi D3 Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan Fakultas Teknologi dan Manajemen Kesehatan IIK Bhakti Wiyata Kediri.

Perkuliahan diadakan dengan program penuh inovasi merupakan awal yang sangat baik untuk bekal berkarir secara profesional dibidang Program Studi Rekam Medis dan Informasi Kesehatan. Vision:

To become an outstanding D3 Medical Records and Health Information Program in the management of the Tridharma in the field of electronic medical records based on the PLUS culture by the year 2025.

Missions:

1. Provide high-quality vocational education to produce healthcare professionals who excel in the mastery of knowledge and technology, especially in the development of electronic-based medical records.
2. Conduct high-quality research to advance knowledge and technology in the field of electronic medical records based on the utilization of national resources and culture to support educational and community service development.
3. Deliver high-quality community service based on expertise in the field of health and technology, particularly in electronic medical records, to empower and improve the quality of life and health of the community.
4. Develop the institution towards efficient and effective modern management, oriented towards achieving goals based on a quality assurance system and an integrated information management system while upholding the PLUS culture (Excellent in service, Noble in character, Superior in creativity, and Prosperous in community life).

Knowledge Mastery:

• Understand the terminology, structure, main functions, and disorders of diseases in the human body.
• Master clinical classification systems, disease coding, and medical procedures based on the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems.
• Proficient in qualitative and quantitative analysis, verification, and evaluation of medical record data manually and electronically.
• Familiar with types of indexes and indicators in manual and electronic medical record reporting.
• Understand the workflow and procedures in manual and electronic medical record units.
• Comprehend the concept of effective communication.
• Understand professional ethics and legal foundations of medical records.
• Knowledgeable about the management of medical record units.
• Understand the procedures for collecting, processing, and presenting informative medical record data manually and electronically.
• Proficient in the application of information technology to support medical record services.

• Competent in evaluating the completeness of diagnosis and procedure content using quantitative methods to ensure accurate coding according to the applicable international classification system.
• Proficient in patient service activities, including registration, filing, and correspondence, using both manual and electronic methods to generate medical record data documents for basic medical record and health information management.
• Able to verify data according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for data examination using both manual and electronic methods, resulting in information documents to be validated by immediate superiors as a basis for decision-making.
• Skilled in promoting every medical record and health information service program to internal and external stakeholders in healthcare facilities using print and electronic media to enhance public knowledge about medical records and health information.
• Competent in establishing inter and intra-professional relationships in accordance with professional codes of ethics to facilitate one-way communication and teamwork in order to achieve optimal quality of medical record and health information services.
• Capable of managing workgroups and work management within an organization as a healthcare provider based on management principles to control human resources in line with organizational priorities.
• Proficient in managing the content structure and data standards of medical records, both manual and electronic, to generate health information from manual and electronic medical record data.
• Skilled in recording and reporting surveillance data regularly using both manual and electronic methods according to reporting systems and standards such as the Hospital Information System (SIRS) and Primary Health Center Management Information System (SIMPUS).
• Competent in collecting and processing data sources using both manual and electronic methods to produce internal documents (for healthcare facilities) and external reports addressed to healthcare institutions (health departments, ministries of health, health insurance) on a routine basis.
• Capable of evaluating the content of medical records (both manual and electronic) using qualitative and quantitative analysis methods presented in quality reports in routine conditions.
• Able to engage in self-development through seminars, training, and education in the field of medical records and health information to enhance the quality and competency of human resources in the field of medical record and health information management.
